This was ESPN’s “experts” predictions for the first round of playoffs for the Clippers vs. Memphis matchup….. Love proving people wrong.

Round 1 of Playoffs was CRAYYYYY! From being on tv to courtside, it has been so much fun! So proud of the Clippers, and smiling at the haters… look at us now! Whatever happens in the 2nd round, I am so proud of these guys, because they overcame adversity, and have faced so much hate and doubt. They played the toughest team in the western conference, and showed so much heart! Love you boys! Ready for the second round, bring it Spurs!

Blake Griffin went down with a hyper-extended knee injury last night
but it was the response to the injury on Twitter that really surprised me.
Check out the reactions on Twitter below, and try and remember NBA players are actual people with all the peccadilloes as the rest of us. Even if Blake Griffin has a tendency to over-sell fouls, he doesn’t fake injuries. To say otherwise is disingenuous and cruel; it’s also an indicator that you’ve become so cynical about the league, you should probably stop following it and pretending to provide critical analysis. It’s no wonder I try to stay off Twitter during playoff games.
